Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Uai Coffee! This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping practices and procedures to ensure a smooth and satisfactory delivery experience for our customers.

 

1. Order Processing

​

  • Orders placed before 2pm EST are typically processed within the same business day, while orders placed after 2pm EST are processed the next business day. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

 

2. Couriers

 

We ship with the following couriers:

  • Canada Post

  • UPS

  • ICS Courier

  • UniUni

  • ​Fleet Optics​

 

We choose our courier based on price, speed, and location to ensure the most efficient delivery for your order.

 

3. Delivery Times

 

    •    Ontario: 2-3 business days

    •    Quebec: 2-4 business days

    •    Everywhere else in Canada: 2-7 business days

 

Please note that some remote locations may take longer. Delivery times are estimates and may be subject to delays beyond our control.

 

4. Shipping Costs

 

  • Flat fee of $10 for all orders.

  • Free shipping on orders over $50.

  • ​Some remote areas may not qualify for the standard $10 flat fee shipping or the free shipping offer. Additional shipping costs may apply to these locations, and we will notify you if this is the case.

 

5. Shipping Restrictions

​

  • International shipping is not available at this moment. We currently only ship within Canada.

  • We currently do not ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Additionally, we do not offer shipping to certain remote areas.

 

6. Order Tracking

 

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can track the status of your order using the provided tracking number on the carrier’s website.

 

7. Delivery Issues

 

  • In the event of any delivery issues or concerns, please contact us at contact@uaicoffee.ca and we will do our best to assist you. Please note that delivery times may be impacted by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or carrier delays.

  •  If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage.

  •  If your package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the courier to resolve the issue.

 

8. Packaging

  • We take great care in packaging your order to ensure it arrives safely and in good condition. If you have any concerns about your packaging, please contact us.​

 Return Policy

 

At Uai Coffee, we strive to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. Whether you're buying our award-winning coffee beans or our newly added coffee gear, your satisfaction is our top priority. Please read our return policy carefully to understand how we can assist you.

 

1. Return Eligibility

 

Coffee Beans:
  • Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns on coffee beans. If you experience any issues with the quality of our coffee, please contact our customer service within 7 days of receiving your order.

 

Coffee Gear:
  • Unused and unopened coffee gear can be returned within 30 days of purchase.

  • Items must be in their original packaging and condition.

  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

 

2. Return Process

  • Our team will review your request and provide further instructions, including the return address.

Step 3: Ship the Item
  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

  • Include a copy of the original receipt.

  • Use a traceable shipping method to ensure we receive the item.

 

3. Refunds

 

Coffee Beans:
  • If there is a quality issue with your coffee beans, we will offer a replacement or a store credit upon verification.

 

Coffee Gear:
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

4. Exchanges

 

Coffee Gear:
  • If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process. Once your return is processed, you can place a new order for the desired item.

 

5. Damaged or Defective Items

 

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

  • Provide photos and a detailed description of the issue.

  • We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

 

6. Non-Returnable Items

 

  • Used coffee gear, gift cards, and items marked as final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

7. Warranty Policy

 

Warranty Policy:
  • All of our products are covered under individual manufacturer warranties, along with our Eight Ounce 1-year limited warranty (effective from the consumer date of purchase).

  • If a product you purchased stops working due to a manufacturer defect, please reach out to Eight Ounce directly by sending an email to hello@eightouncecoffee.ca as soon as possible, and they will work with you to determine your warranty coverage. Please have a copy of the original sales receipt/proof of purchase as it will be required to make a warranty claim.

 

Warranty claims do not include:
  • Any defect arising from the misuse of the product. This includes but is not limited to negligence, lack of descaling, damage as a result of a drop or fall, or failure to follow product instructions.

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, dents, and wearing out of replaceable parts).

  • Natural variations in the color of wooden items (e.g., handles, lids, collars, or bases).

  • Any glass, plastic, or ceramic items or parts outside of damage during transit or manufacturing error.

8. Cancellation Policy

 

  • Please note that once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. We process orders quickly to ensure fast delivery, so we're unable to make changes after confirmation. For any concerns regarding your order, please contact us at contact@uaicoffee.ca.
