What is Uai Coffee?

Uai Coffee is a specialty coffee company offering single-origin Brazilian coffees, roasted in small batches in Ontario, Canada. We focus on sustainability, ethical practices, and delivering luxury coffee experiences through direct trade and family-owned farms.  

Where do you source your coffee beans from?

Our beans are sourced from family and partner farms in Brazil's Cerrado Mineiro region, a renowned coffee-growing area known for producing exceptional coffee.  

Has Uai Coffee or its partners won any awards?

Yes! Our family and partner producers have been recognized with prestigious awards, including:  

  • 1st place at the 2023 Expocaccer.
  • Cup of Excellence (CoE) 2021, and 2024.
  • And many others.

The Cup of Excellence is Brazil's highest coffee honor, celebrating the finest coffee producers in the country.

Our mission is to provide high-quality specialty coffee and gear while supporting sustainable and ethical practices, empowering family-owned farms, and sharing the rich heritage of Brazilian coffee.

What types of coffee do you offer?

We offer specialty single-origin coffees such as Esperança, Oliveira, and Toriba.

Where are your coffee beans grown?

Our beans are grown in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro region, known for its ideal coffee-growing conditions and exceptional quality. 

How is your coffee roasted?

We roast our coffee in small batches in Ontario, Canada, using precise roast profiles to ensure consistency and optimal flavor. Each batch is cupped and tasted to maintain premium quality.  

What is the shelf life of your coffee?

Our coffee has a shelf life of up to one year. However, for the best flavor and aroma, we recommend consuming it within two months of roast date.  

What coffee gear do you sell?

We offer a curated selection of coffee equipment from trusted brands such as Ascaso, Fellow, Timemore, Outin, AeroPress, Eureka, LaCimbali, Blendtec, Mahlkönig, Fetco, Hario and more. 

Do you provide guides for using your coffee equipment?

Yes, we provide detailed guides and recipes on our blog to help you get the most out of your coffee gear and brewing experience.

Shipping & Returns

Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges

When will my order ship?

Orders placed before 2pm EST are shipped the same day, but only on business days. Some items may be shipped directly from our distributors in Calgary or Montreal, which could result in longer fulfillment times. Products shipped by our distributors will be noted on their respective product pages.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination:  

  • Next-day delivery for areas near Toronto.  
  • 2-3 business days for other cities in Ontario.  
  • 2-6 business days for cities in Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia.  
  • Up to 7-8 business days for remote areas. 
What is your return policy for equipment?

Unused and unopened equipment can be returned within 60 days of purchase.  

Can I return coffee products?

We do not accept returns for coffee products due to their perishable nature.  

How do I start the return process?
